PLN and PLE for CLIL using Picktochart

Hi colleages!

Here is my infographic about my PLE and PLN regarding CLIL knowledge.

The first time I heard about it (as AICOLE) I had not idea about what It was, I had to decide the topic of my final project degree (TFG) and since I love learning and discovering new things I dared to choose this topic although I did not know anything at all. Then it was when my adventure started along with CLIL looking for some information through the most powerful weapon that the human being has currently: Internet.

I spent many time searching different websites, firstly in Spanish and secondly, after my previous poor hunt, in English. The websites that really helped me were LACLIL, an online journal about the mentioned methodology;Isabel Perez’s website which is full of resources, materials and general information based on a deep methodological documentation; and Patrick de Boer’s CLIL magazine. In this last option, you need to be registered in order to receive the monthly online magazine.

However, I could found many information in others sources as books such as. CLIL. Content and Language Integrated Learning of  Coyle, Hood and Marsh  or Uncovering CLIL: Content and language integrated learning in bilingual and multilingual education of  Mehisto, Marsh and Frigols.

Once that I finished my TFG successfully and demonstrated myself the importance of self-learning I decided to carry on with my training as bilingual teacher and I signed up for the master of Bilingual Education. Nowadays I continue my training at Rey Juan Carlos University and with many others educational websites on the net.

The tool that I have chosen for creating my diagram is Picktochart, I think it is a very intuitive tool which helps you to express your idea easily. At the beginning, my mindmap could seem a mess but it isn’t! All arrows have a reason to be, they connect my knowledge and the places I take it from as well as those things that I create and lately they are shared.

Both PLN and PLE are organized according to how I use them regarding different purposes. Of course, those apps or websites that we use frequently in our daily life take part of our learning-teaching process even when we do not notice, this is the case of whatsapp or facebook which are not educational tools themselves.

If you have any question do not hesitate to ask me! Due to it is an expression of my ideas and my point of view of my learning and teaching process, it could be easy for me to understand but confusing for others. Everything can get better!
